Digital media hiring levels in the railway industry rose in June 2022

We analysed data analytics hiring levels in the railway industry.

The proportion of railway equipment supply, product, and services companies hiring for digital media-related positions rose in June 2022 compared with the equivalent month last year, with 42.6% of the companies included in our analysis recruiting for at least one such position.

This latest figure was higher than the 34.3% of companies hiring for digital media-related jobs a year ago, but a decrease compared to the figure of 46.8% in May 2022.

When it came to the rate of all job openings that were linked to digital media, related job postings dropped in June 2022 from May 2022, with 1.2% of newly posted job advertisements being linked to the topic.

This latest figure was an increase compared to the 0.8% of newly advertised jobs that were linked to digital media in the equivalent month a year ago.
